WHAT ATTENDEES SAY
It was my first time attending a DeBio event. I was surprised at how professional, organized, and focused the conference was. I would highly recommend to others. The organizers did a great job, so thank you!!
It was an amazing event and I will continue participate in next conferences. I feel more empowered and I am grateful for this opportunity. I will implement what I learned and will read a book and use the learned
information. Thank you all so much. The conference was very well done. Great speakers, content, organization and surroundings.
I have enjoyed this conference over the years. I learned that topics that once didn’t apply do now. I look forward to this conference every year.

Leading Through Complexity: Making Better Decisions When Everything Feels Important
10:05-11:05 AM
Today's STEM professionals are expected to make critical decisions in environments filled with competing priorities, limited resources, and constant demands. The challenge isn't simply navigating change—it's determining where to focus your time, attention, and energy when everything feels urgent.
Whether you're leading a team, managing projects, or influencing decisions without formal authority, the ability to think strategically, prioritize effectively, and communicate with clarity has become an essential leadership skill.
Through real-world examples, practical frameworks, and interactive discussion, this workshop will explore how successful leaders cut through complexity, make thoughtful decisions with confidence, and keep teams aligned around what matters most. Participants will leave with actionable strategies they can immediately apply to improve decision-making, manage competing priorities, and lead with greater clarity and purpose.
Tell the Story Behind the Data: Communicating Insights That Drive Decisions
10:05-11:05 AM
In today's workplace, the ability to communicate effectively may be just as important as technical expertise. Whether presenting research findings, reporting business results, advocating for resources, or sharing project updates, strong storytelling skills help transform information into action.
This hands-on workshop will teach participants how to turn complex information into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences and drive informed decision-making.
Connections That Count: Building Relationships Across STEM
11:30 AM-12:15 PM
Some of the most meaningful conference experiences happen through the connections we make with one another. This structured networking experience is designed to intentionally connect attendees across industries, organizations, and career stages.
Participants will engage in guided conversations and interactive activities that encourage relationship building, mentorship, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas. Whether you're a student exploring career possibilities or a senior leader looking to expand your network, this session will help you build connections that extend well beyond the conference.
