Delaware Bio is excited to announce that our Igniting Innovation 2022 Gala will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at The Waterfall.

We hope you'll join us for an evening to celebrate and be celebrated as part of the vibrant life science community in Delaware.

We will start the evening with hors d'oeuvres and an ample opportunity to network with regional life science professionals. This year's Fireside Chat will feature Kris Vaddi, Chief Executive Officer of Prelude Therapeutics. The evening will be capped off with a deluxe coffee bar and Viennese mini dessert stations; providing another opportunity to network. Kris Vaddi, Ph.D. founded Prelude Therapeutics and has served as the Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors since 2016. Prior to founding Prelude, from 2014 to 2016, Dr. Vaddi served as Chief Executive Officer of Orsenix, LLC, a clinical stage biotechnology company. Previously, he held several roles at Incyte Corporation, starting as a Founding Scientist and an Executive Director in 2002, and most recently as a Senior Advisor from 2015 to 2016. Dr. Vaddi initiated and championed JAK research programs at Incyte that led to the discovery, development, and approval of Jakafi® (ruxolotinib) for Myelofibrosis and Polycythemia Vera and Olumiant® (baricitinib) for rheumatoid arthritis. He received his BVSc in Veterinary Medicine from APAU in India and his Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from University of Florida.

Registration Policy

The “Non-Member” rate is for those who very occasionally attend our events ( no more than two events) or for those who are evaluating whether they wish to join Delaware Bio. This is not intended for individuals who attend every event in a series. If you fall into this category, we ask that you join the organization. Information about membership can be found by contacting us at  info@delawarebio.org.

Please note that Delaware Bio is a member-supported organization, preference is given to our members. If an event becomes sold out and you are registered as a non-member, we reserve the right to cancel your registration and refund your payment.

When registering please use your company email address, so we can verify membership (if applicable).  Please register in advance, as it may fill up quickly. Thank you!

Refund Policy

Cancellations for the 2022 Gala must be made in writing, via email to Yvette Murray no later than April 30, 2022 to receive a refund minus 25% for registration/administrative costs. If the cancellation is made after April 30, 2022 or the attendee is a no-show, Delaware Bio will not issue a refund.  If it becomes necessary to switch your ticket with a colleague changes to the selected meal during the original registration will remain the same. Meal choices can not be changed after April 30, 2022  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Yvette Murray.
