| Myoshi is currently the Global Integrated Operations Leader leading global supply chain and operations for DuPont Industrial Solutions businesses which includes key brands Kalrez®, Vespel®, Electronic Polymers, Liveo™, MOLYKOTE®. An asset for strategic planning initiatives. She is called upon to help challenged facilities identify opportunities for growth and change. During her career, she’s led international teams living in both Singapore and the Netherlands. Leveraging vast experience in the various management roles she’s held she is also a Certified Lean Practitioner & Six Sigma Black Belt continuously seeking out ways to make productivity improvements & increase efficiency, while maintaining awareness that when the team succeeds, everyone wins! A proud graduate of Penn State University and HBCU Delaware State university she was inspired to purse a career in Operations & Supply Chain after seeing her own father work as an engineer for the DuPont Company. | Melanie is a seasoned professional in the life sciences industry, with over 30 years of experience in various roles including strategy execution, sales leadership, customer support and operations, and analytical lab work. As an Associate Vice President at Agilent, she oversees a global team of process and project managers who deliver strategic initiatives and enterprise projects that enhance the customer experience. She is skilled at hiring, developing, and mentoring talent. She values the role of mentors in her career development and enjoys being a mentor to others. One of her notable achievements was creating the campus recruiting program for Agilent’s field sales organization. She holds a BS degree in Food Science from the University of Delaware, and an executive MBA degree from Penn State University. When she is not working, she likes to relax at the beach, hike with her husband and their 2 dogs, and solve challenging jigsaw puzzles. Michele Porreca joined Prelude Therapeutics in June 2021 to serve in the newly created position of Chief People Officer where she leads all aspects of the Company’s human resources management, including talent management and strategy, organizational effectiveness, total rewards, culture, inclusion, and employee communications. Ms. Porreca brings more than 20 years of experience in human resources with over a decade of specialized experience in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sector. Most recently, she served as CHRO at Nabriva Therapeutics, where she led the human resources function during its transition from a clinical stage to commercial stage infectious disease organization. Prior to Nabriva, she served as the Vice President, Human Resources at Synergy Pharmaceuticals during the launch of its first specialty product. In addition, Ms. Porreca was a member of the HR leadership team at Shire Pharmaceuticals during a six-year span of rapid growth prior to its acquisition by Takada. In addition to her time in life sciences, Ms. Porreca held HR leadership roles in both the medical and tech industries. Ms. Porreca earned a B.A. from Ursinus College and an M.B.A from Drexel University. |
