Volunteers are the life blood of Delaware Bio. Individuals from member firms and organizations provide input and support the execution and success of Delaware Bio. There are four committees currently with room for new committee members all the time. Committee roles provide individuals with opportunities for expanding their professional work experience and their personal and professional networks.

This group develops and organizes events and programs addressing the interests of Delaware Bio Members (e.g., the signature Biobreakfast, instructional/educational programs on current topics of interest, networking opportunities like the Winterfest for C-level executives, and the Annual Awards Gala, designed to recognize members of the Delaware BioScience community, Career Fairs and more).
This team is responsible for developing and implementing a marketing and communications strategy including such elements as the website, e-newsletter the Observer, advertising, press releases, video and related materials.
Membership and Benefits
This group monitors the performance of Delaware Bio with the annual survey identifying the evolving needs of members and looking for additional offerings and services to support Delaware Bio members and growth of the Association.
Education and Workforce Training
This committee works collaboratively with its members to support the expansion of life science education and workforce development resources (K-12, higher education and education and training related resources, etc.) necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the bioscience economy in the state of Delaware.
