Chad Holliday, Congressman Mike Castle, Catherine Bonuccelli and Vidadi Yusibov to Be Recognized at Delaware Bio Gala
NEWARK, Del.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Delaware BioScience Association (Delaware Bio) will host its Annual Awards Gala on April 12, 2010 to celebrate leading individuals from Delaware's life science sector who have made a significant contribution to the community. Three hundred industry leaders will gather at the DuPont Country Club in Wilmington to honor this year's keynote speaker Chad Holliday, former Chairman and CEO of DuPont and 2010 recipient of the Delaware Bio Visionary Award.
"Delaware Bio is pleased to present keynote speaker Chad Holliday with its Visionary Award bestowed on an individual who through action and commitment clearly demonstrates leadership relating to economic prosperity, the environment, human health and sustainability," said Bob Dayton, president of Delaware Bio.
Delaware Bio will again recognize three individuals who have contributed to the growth of the bioscience economy in Delaware with the following Annual Awards:
U.S. Congressman Michael N. Castle - Government Official Award
Catherine M. Bonuccelli, M.D., VP AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals - Service Award
Vidadi M. Yusibov, Ph.D., Executive Director Fraunhofer CMB - Innovation Award
